Hi everyone!
Really excited about my new duo WindBeaten, with singer/flautist Frances Watt.. We've been busy recently getting material ready for our debut at Musicport Festival which was last weekend.
We had an amazing time... Loads of great feedback from the gig which was really encouraging. We were also involved in the schools work on the Friday - we had an amazing group of teenagers to work with - they sang, percussed and spooned their hearts out and did a fantastic performance after just an hour and a half's session with us. Possibly the highlight of the weekend for me though, was running a spoons workshop on the top deck of Bob's BlundaBus overlooking the sea...
Saw loads of great acts too - if you've never been, I'd definitely recommend it, it's a brilliant festival. http://www.musicportfestival.com
